COVID-19 Response

Your health and safety are our top priority and we look forward continuing to serve you and our community as we have done for the past 44 years.

Our office safety steps in response to COVID-19 include:

We have undergone professional office cleanings and frequent sanitizing of office surfaces and equipment.  We use green cleaning products that effectively act as a virucide, fungicide, disinfectant and sanitizer.

Additional instant hand sanitizers have been installed at high traffic areas.

Physical distance is the “new normal”, for now.  You will notice floor markings throughout the office indicating directional arrows and 6 feet distance markings to remind everyone 6 feet of separation is the new protocol.  There will be exceptions in distance to deliver the type of care necessary.

Our staff are equipped with PPE face coverings and gloves and will be performing diligent hand washing and sanitizing will be performed before and after each patient.

We encourage utilizing our retinal scanner instead of dilations.

Breath shield guards have been installed in our exam room equipment.

We will continue to offer curbside pick-up/drop-off for all your eye care needs.

When scheduling check with our staff as we have increased our exam days with spaced exam times to promote social distancing and still provide you with convenient appointments.

What you can do during your visit with us:

Prior to your visit we ask that perform a self-screening for COVID-19 symptoms and check your temperature.  Please visit cdc.gov for a comprehensive list of symptoms.

We ask that you come to your appointment alone unless you are accompanying a minor or need medical assistance.

If you or any person accompanying you have had a fever or experienced any COVID-19 symptoms or if you have traveled outside of the country for the last two weeks we ask that you reschedule and do not come in to the office.  For our patients, it is critical that you avoid our facility if you are sick.  Vulnerable or at-risk patients should continue to shelter in place and stay at home for routine care needs.

We ask that you wear a face covering throughout your visit with us.

When you walk in you use one of our instant hand sanitizers prior to checking-in at the front desk.

If you are early for your appointment you may be asked to wait in your car.

We will continue to monitor all guidelines and adjust as needed to provide you with a safe visit.

We are in this together, we are resilient.  Thank you for your support of our small business in this time of transition.
